Terms And Conditions
At BYOPT, we want our customers to be happy with the products that they buy from us, so we do offer a 30 day return policy on most unused products. There are exceptions to this policy including:
- Closeout items are unable to be returned.
- There are no returns on fabric, vinyl, or foam that has already been cut or altered from the size or condition in which it was received.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and initial shipping costs cannot be refunded. Products that are returned will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. In order to initiate a return, please email us at email@example.com, and include your order number and reason for return. If you only wish to return part of an order, please specify which items you’d like to return.
If a customer receives merchandise that has been damaged in the warehouse or during shipping they are free to exchange that product for an identical product in the condition in which it was advertised. If you do not wish to exchange the defective product you will be refunded the price of the product only.
All freight orders MUST be inspected by the customer before signing for the shipment. Any damage found after the fact is assumed to be the responsibility of the customer. If you do find something missing or damaged contact us immediately so that we can file a claim with the shipping company. Once the claim is resolved and the defective product is returned we will ship your new product.
You are free to request an exchange within 30 days of the purchase of your product as long as your product meets the guidelines outlined above. With an exchange there is no restocking fee and the customer will only have to pay for shipping the replacement product, as well as return shipping for the original product.
Refunds of any kind are only issued after the product has been returned and inspected at our warehouse. Once the product has been accepted into the warehouse you can expect all returns to be issued within 2 weeks.
NOTE: If you have paid via American Express you will be charged an additional 3.5% fee as American Express will not refund the transaction costs to us on a reversed transaction. This is 100% out of our control.
Carriers and Prices
Build Your Own Poker Tables uses UPS as our primary shipper as well as several freight shippers, for larger objects like casino tables and large slot machines. Our shipping prices are calculated directly through UPS in real time based on the weight and dimensions of the products being shipped and the zip code that you give in relation to our warehouse. Smaller items, all shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, and all shipments to APO/FPO/DPO addresses may also ship via USPS Priority Mail.
Ground orders generally ship between 24 and 48 hours from the time of the order depending on the time of day that the order was placed. During high volume times, shipping times may be delayed by a day or 2 (from normal shipping estimates) at the most.
Please note that often items will ship in multiple boxes and may not all be shipped from the same location.
