2nd Platoon Jokers of 125th Transportation

The 2nd Platoon Jokers of the 125th Convoy Security Company would like to extend a huge thank you to Build Your Own Poker Tables for the huge morale booster they have provided for us.

There’s nothing better than unwinding and relaxing after a week-long mission than to sit down with a group of your fellow soldiers for a game of cards. At first we started with only a few soldiers playing on a small fold out table with broken legs that someone discarded. We used a combination of candy and rocks for our chips, which made betting confusing at times. Now, thanks to the generosity of the people at Tables for Troops and BYOPT, we have a casino quality table to gather around and have since acquired real chips for betting.

You have definitely changed and strengthened the morale for these soldiers for the better. It is a blessing to have such niceties to gather everyone around at night and unwind. It is people like the ones at BYOPT and Tables for Troops that make what we do and the sacrifices we make worth while. Thank you once again from all the soldiers in 2nd Platoon.
